• This is a very simple conversion. It give a brighter, whiter light. Excellent to carry if walking on the roads as it can be seen by motorists from a long way off. But you lose the ability and convenience of being able to focus or widen the beam, to turn it on and off with a simple twist of the head, and to unscrew the head and use it as an electronic candle in your tent. I have to give my torch a shake sometimes to make it work.
