In-use Test:
Rather unexpectedly - and due to a sudden big, mid-April, drop in temperature - I actually needed some warm head-gear so I was able to try out the Thermal Hat from Heat Holders.
The hat has a very even, cable-knit design with a fabulously soft inner lining. The overall finish on the hat looks to be very good.
This one-size hat fitted me well and looked great. It keep me very comfortably warm throughout a day's walking in the White Peak with a temperature of about 7-8 deg C but with a really cold, blustery wind, which it kept out.
It also wicked moisture well so my head was comfortable even during periods of relative high activity.
This little hat is now definitely joining my 'always-with-me' kit at the bottom of my daypack.
Heat Holders' Thermal hat has an impressive 3.4 TOG rating and performed very well in our early Spring test. Great value and certainly worthwhile having handy on any walking trip for when the temperature drops or the wind starts to blow!
