In-use Test:

Tested on a camping trip to Wasdale I found this torch sat very comfortably in the hand with a reassuring grip. The switch is smooth and the quality of the light produced very clear and pure. Its size makes it easy to find in the dark.

Buying Advice:

The Maglite LED 2D cell flashlight is too heavy to carry in a backpack and not really suitable for walking, hiking, mountain biking or camping when having both hands free is essential. A good quality head torch would be a my preferred option. Perfect though for keeping in the car/caravan/motorhome or garage/understairs cupboard for emergency use during a power failure.
