In-use Test:
The Grizu is a support footbed that has an inbuilt heating system. It can be inserted into any boot or shoe that has a removable insole. It comes with its own battery charger and a remote control so that the insoles can be switched on and off from outside the boot or shoe, whether you are deep in the forest or high on a mountain top.
It will heat the front of your foot up to a cosy 38°C. Its inbuilt microprocessor regulates the temperature based on the outside conditions so your foot is never too hot or too cold. The footbed automatically protects itself if its submerged in water and will carry on working once it has dried out.
The Grizu is a great idea for anyone who suffers from cold feet or has poor circulation.
Scarpa do not appear to be selling these anymore - but you might some on eBay.
