Wayfayrer Foods, the leading brand of ready to eat food for the outdoors is delighted to have been the Official Food Supplier for the inaugural 2003 Landrover G4 Challenge.

The challenge, which took place during April, saw participants from all over the world competing in three different continents: USA, South Africa and Australia for the first prize of a brand new Range Rover.

The event was a combination of driving and navigational skills as well as activities such as snowshoeing, abseiling, mountain-biking, kayaking and climbing, with competitors camping out in some spectacular locations including the canyons of Utah and the PiIbara Region of Western Australia.

The food was very well received and importantly, convenient and easy to prepare. After a long and physically exhausting day this was much appreciated by competitors when they were arriving late into camp. In fact they would often heat the packets on the manifold for the last half hour drive back to camp so it was hot and ready to eat when they arrived! Feedback from various competitors included:
