Silva turns Night into Day

Now you really can see in the dark with the latest M1, M2 and M3 headlamps from Silva.

Three new compact models have been introduced to the existing headlamp range that have more energy efficient and powerful halogen beams with longer lasting batteries.

These latest lamps are specifically designed for a wide range of sports and outdoor activities such as adventure racing, climbing, caving, horse-riding and jogging. Built to withstand severe weather conditions the rubberised headlamp bodies are both waterproof and shock-resistant.

The M series includes three models:- M1, M2 and M3, all featuring high-power halogen lamps together with light emitting diodes (LEDs) giving the lamp its powerful beam. The LEDs use an extremely small amount of current supplied by rechargeable batteries making possible the use of the more energy demanding halogen bulbs.

Silva's professional range of high-power headlamps have led the market for a long time and the new M-series combines the latest technology with many improvements including a hammered surface reflector that effectively captures and distributes light from the bulb and external battery packs integrated into the headpiece.

Commenting on the new headlamp range, Christer Svensson, Silva's Product Manager, said, "We have developed the newly designed M-series of headlamps for sports and outdoor activities focusing on the size and range of the beam whilst still being able to offer a competitively priced lamp.
