Leki poles remains the leading choice for outdoor enthusiasts and is the innovative pioneer in the field of adjustable telescopic poles, constantly developing and testing in the laboratory and field.

The poles may look the same, but new innovations for 2003 including Leki's Easy Lock System (ELS) and Soft Antishock System (SAS) mean that they are very different.

ELS provides increased locking power with minimal tightening efforts, through the use of a new expander system inside the pole. The holding strength of the ELS expander system has increased by 220% from Leki's standard holding system and 500% from the average of other locking systems. The ELS feature is available on a number of Leki poles including many of the Antishock and Ultralite poles.

The new Soft Antishock System (SAS) provides significantly reduced vibration within the pole, which is achieved by the absorption of energy during the pole plant. Reduced stress on the joints, muscles and ligaments are major benefits of SAS, which can be easily activated and deactivated.

The new technology has been incorporated into many of Leki's most popular poles including the Super Makalu Air Ergo Antishock, Makalu Ultralite Air Ergo Antishock and the Sierra Antishock FS photo system poles.
