Named after a South American placename, but also honouring the famous Portuguese adventurer, Vasco da Gama, Páramo Directional Clothing Systems launches its latest jacket this autumn. The Vasco goes the extra mile, offering a contemporary look and unique functional features to complement the Nikwax Analogy® fabric, which sets Páramo garments apart from more conventional waterproofs.

The unique Directional construction of the Nikwax Analogy® fabric offers huge benefits to active outdoor enthusiasts, who want to be outside in all weathers. Not only does it keep the weather out but directs sweat and condensation away from the body, to keep the wearer comfortable and prevent post-exercise chill.

This ability for rapid recovery means it is a particular boon for those participating in high energy sports such as mountain biking, adventure racing, climbing and Nordic Walking.

Designed to cope with all types of adventures, the Vasco's contoured fit and articulated shoulders and sleeves allow freedom of movement without flap or drag.

Temperature control comes from a distinctive ventilation system consisting of adjustable venting in the back and upper arms, two-way zip, hem drawcord and easily pushed up cuffs.

The fully detachable, wired and rollaway hood for which Páramo is renowned, increases the options this jacket offers for braving a variety of weather and enjoying a variety of activities.
