Silva goes Digital

Silva's latest addition to its compass range is the electronic hand held Nomad compass with its own built in memory.

Users can always see the set course along with any deviations - warning if they are going off course. The Nomad will also automatically store a back bearing allowing straightforward navigation back to the original starting point.

Perfect for high-tech navigation in the great outdoors, Nomad also has a backlit LCD display enabling navigation at any time of the day or night and a spirit level for horizontal adjustment so that precise and accurate bearings can be obtained. Weighing only 86 grams, the compass has a low battery level indicator with an estimated life of up to 500 hours and comes complete with a neck strap and wristband.
