In-use Test:
The Regatta Fast Track Mid-XLT is a relatively low-cut, suede walking boot which was certainly comfortable straight from the box. There's a nicely padded 'scree' (the collar around the top of the boot), tongue and footbed - so my feet stayed dry and comfortable throughout a number of low level 5-7 mile walks through wet grass and some quite heavy showers.
There do not appear to be half sizes available, so I was wearing a pair a full half size bigger than my usual walking boot size which seemed ok.
There is not much in the way of ankle support or toe protection although the traction on mud and wet grass was not too bad at all.
Whilst these are much too flexible and lacking in ankle support for rocky and/or mountainous terrain, the Regatta Fast Track are a good value, light weight walking boot for low level country walking - or even for wet days around town. Do check the sizing.
