In-use Test:
Made from fabric that is quite stretchy the Qeuchua Forclaz 500 women's trousers are slim fitting with a waistband that sits just above the hips. I'm 5'7' and usually a size 12 - and was wearing the Forclaz in a size 12. The fit is flattering but possibly a little on the small size and the leg length just about right for me. There's some articulation at the knees, which was at the right position for my leg length. There are two, quite small, zipped pockets plus a smaller zipped pocket just above the right knee. (I've yet to work out what I might use that third pocket for!) The freedom of movement was good and the trousers have been generally very comfortable in the mild, early summer, Peak District conditions in which I've been wearing them.
They can be added to the 40 degree wash and dry extremely quickly.
Whilst my personal preference is for walking trousers that sit higher up on the waist, at this price it's hard to fault the Forclaz for general outdoor leisure wear or moorland walking in moderate, UK spring/summer temperatures.
