In-use Test:

Made using their Effect Silver ion treatment, the fabric used in the the Odlo panty is soft feeling and very stretchy. The pant itself is close fitting, extremely light weight and true to size. I'm usually a standard size 12 and was wearing the Medium size and the fit was great.

I've tried out the Odlo panty under trousers and leggings for walking on some warm UK early summer days and also - for a change of pace - under leggings for yoga. They really are very comfortable - they stayed in place plus kept me cool and dry. They go in the wash at 40 degrees, dry extremely quickly and take up virtually no room in a backpack or kit-bag. My only slight disappointment so far is that a loose thread has appeared from the waist-band seam, which surprised me on this otherwise great product.

Buying Advice:

If you're investing in a technical layering system for hill/mountain walking in warmer conditions, then it makes sense to consider more technical underwear as well. Slim fitting enough for the closest fitting of outer layer, Odlo's X-Light panty is certainly a great option.
