In-use Test:

It is a bit difficult to write a review of a Neck Warmer, but all I can say is that this Brass Monkeys Neck Warmer is made from fine merino wool and feels extremely soft around the neck with no sign of itchiness. If you have never tried a neck warmer, it is surprisingly effective at stopping the warm air inside your outer layer from escaping through the neck opening.

For washing, the label says a 'cool machine wash on a short gentle cycle using a wool detergent' which makes a refreshing change from the often obligatory 'hand wash only'. This garment survived the process with no ill effects and quickly air-dried on a clothes rack.

Buying Advice:

Highly effective so give it a go. While the RRP is £30.00 at the time of writing the Brass Monkeys Neck Warmer/Snood was available from Amazon UK for £20.00 so it might be worth shopping around a bit.
