In-use Test:

The Berghaus Technical long sleeve t-shirt is a close-fitting, extremely comfortable top that I've worn on its own in some pretty warm UK summer weather - or more recently as a base layer in some cooler temperatures.

There's much to like about this tee; it's been great in warm weather - the wicking is excellent plus the deep front zip has provided a further ventilation option. I also liked the collar and longer sleeves (which are easy to pull up) as these provided some welcome additional protection during hot sunshine. It also washes well and dries really quickly.

On the down side, I've noticed that the fabric is starting to show some signs of wear. Also - there's probably not enough warmth in the fabric to allow use as a base layer in anything other than cooler Autumn/Spring temperatures.

The very close-fit cut whilst very flattering on some may not suit all physiques!

Buying Advice:

The Berghaus Technical Long Sleeve t shirt is an extremely comfortable top for summer walking - or other high energy activities in warmer temperatures.

Although not warm enough for winter conditions, it's also a good option as a base layer under a fleece for use in cooler Autumn/Spring weather.
