In-use Test:

Made using their Effect Silver ion treatment, the fabric used in the the Odlo Singlet is soft feeling and very stretchy. The singlet, itself, is a simple design with good size arm openings but with no seams at all in the armpit area. It's possible to see several areas (mid front, under the arms, betweeen shoulder blades and mid back) that have a different knit, which I assume are the 'functional' areas designed to aid ventilation.

I've been trying it out in the last few weeks both as a base in a layering system for some early summer walking in the Lake District (temperature about 20 degrees) and, once home, as a top for Yoga in a very warm studio. I'm a standard size 12 and was wearing a Medium sized singlet. This is a close fitting style, and the fit was just right. It's extremely light weight and really very comfortable - no chaffing nor did it ride up at all. Temperature control was also very good. I've washed it a number of times now - it can go in a 40 degree wash and dries extremely quickly - tho' it's not been at all smelly!

Buying Advice:

As part of a layering system, Odlo's singlet works well as a simple base layer for walking in mild/warm conditions. Also great on its own for higher energy activities in warmer temperatures or for exercise needing good freedom of movement in warm/hot conditions.
