In-use Test:

The Kathmandu Rabrossa half zip pure wool knitted jumper has a close-fitting body design with a lovely snug collar which I've worn for a variety of low level winter walking trips.

It's extremely comfortable and feels soft next to the skin and - as you'd expect from a pure wool garment - it's warmth, breathability and wicking were all very good. Odour masking was also excellent.

It's washed well several times without any signs of shrinkage or any other reduction in performance. Drying times were longer than those required for my synthetic based tops.

Buying Advice:

The Kathmandu Rabrossa has probably not been designed with the high-mountain walker in mind but is a good option for lower level walking in winter or autumn particularly if you want a garment based on a natural material.

It's also certainly stylish enough for more general leisure wear.

However, IMHO it is expensive - and there are probably cheaper alternatives that will function as well.
