Kevin Foster summited on May 19th, 2022 [from/via/route] National Trust car park, Brackenclose, Wasdale Head. [with] By myself. [weather] Early cloud on Scafells lifting by midday then sunny. - Turn right off the main highway at the foot of the next col walk a few yards to find a steep grassy line taking you up towards the summit. You still have to clamber over some tricky boulders but it is easier than taking the direct route up. The top of Broad Crag is only a matter of yards from the main highway but it is very rough terrain indeed. Few will bother to make the effort but us peak baggers have to!
