Walk The 254 Nuttalls in England
The Mountains and Subsidiary Tops sometimes referred to as 'Nuttalls' are defined as being any high point in England or Wales over 610m (2000ft) above mean sea-level with just 15m (approx 50ft) of 'prominence' or 'ascent' on all sides.
The 'Nuttalls' in England include all 180 Mountains in England (Hewitts) plus 74 minor subsidiary tops.
There are currently 442 'Nuttalls' in total: - 254 in England and 188 in Wales.
NB. Mountain and Tops also known as 'Nuttalls' are named after lists in a two volume book entitled 'The Mountains of England and Wales' by John and Anne Nuttall, published by Cicerone in 1990.
