How do I download and use GPS Waypoints
Q. I have just been given a Garmin etrex summit, and I would like to download GPS waypoints, but I don't know how to do this.
Do I need software for my computer?
Do I need a cable to connect the GPS to the PC?
And how does the Long/Lat relate to the OS Maps?
I would be greatful for any help.

A. OK.
Do I need software for my computer? - Yes, get GPS Utility. The free limited version is all you need.
Do I need a cable to connect the GPS to the PC? - Yes, and available online (see below).
And how does the Long/Lat relate to the OS Maps? - All GPS Waypoints available from go4awalk.com use Position Format = 'British Grid' and Map Datum = 'ord srvy GB' so they match the grid references on your OS Maps.
