Downloaded Map 10 Digit Grid References
Q. Hopefully just a quickie, I am a new member and downloaded some walks. On the printout, I can see grid references, an example being: SK12070 99919. Now, forgive my newbness here but I always thought grid refs were in 4 or 6 digit format so am a little confused by the (I think!) 10 digit reference I see on the maps. Can someone point me in the right direction to working these out? I've done a google search but links just seem to go back to 4 or 6 digits :(

A. See Setting GPS Waypoints - 5 or 6 Digits? for more information on the 10 figure GPS waypoints printed on go4awalk.com walk maps.
Hope this helps
