Any difference between a Garmin GPS bought in different countries?

Q. Hi, I'm based in Germany and its more convenient for me to buy a GPS here. I'm thinking of Garmin Etrex 10. However I want to be able to set it for use in the UK showing OS grid refs. Will I be able to set the position format and map datum on a model bought in Germany?

A. On my Garmin Etrex 10 (which I bought in North West England) I can choose all sorts of 'Position Formats' from the 'SetUp' screen including 'British Grid' for the UK along with the German Grid, the US National Grid, numerous Zones in India, the New Zealand Grid, the Estonian Grid, the Finnish Grid, the Irish Grid, the Latvian Grid, the South African Grid, the Swedish Grid, a couple of grids in Indonesia and the Icelandic Grid amongst lots and lots of others.
