Other walkers who hiked, climbed, bagged and summited Haycock Fellow go4awalkers who have already walked, climbed, summited & bagged Haycock

Tim Winn walked up Haycock on October 26th, 2024 [from/via/route] Ennerdale [with] Barry, Paul and Roger [weather] Dry.

Carl Murphy climbed Haycock on January 23rd, 2023 [from/via/route] Ennerdale [weather] Misty, raining snow windy

Christine Shepherd bagged Haycock on February 17th, 2008 [from/via/route] Walked from Ennerdale using walk c130 Climbed again, adding this to the Greendale Round, on 22.08.2021 Climbed for a third time on 20.4.24 adding this summit to c101 after Steeple with Louise. [with] On my own [weather] An incredibly clear winter's day - Haycock was above the clouds & me & the other walkers who were having lunch on Haycock were wishing we had brought the suncream- in February! Still snow around on the summit.

John Tippins hiked Haycock on May 5th, 2023 [from/via/route] From Bowness Knott car park [with] Alone [weather] Warm & sunny to start with. Just before reaching the top it started raining. Heavy rain, moderately strong winds & thick cloud for the next couple of hours. Stopped raining, still misty until halfway down to the valley floor, then warm & sunny again.

Sarah Moore summited Haycock on April 8th, 2023 [from/via/route] c130 / Caw Fell, Haycock & Steeple... with extra! from Ennerdale YHA [with] On my own [weather] Great day for it - almost too hot at points - clear for miles & sunny & beautiful - Couldn't believe how quiet it was for an Easter weekend - remote but incredible

Richard Marchant conquered Haycock on September 24th, 2022 [from/via/route] Parked at the forest car park below Bowness Knot & walk up the side of Ennerdale Water heading East & at the end I headed South on a Forestry track then a footpath through the woods & up a ridge that finally brought me out to the col between Caw Fell & Haycock. I nipped up to Caw Fell & back along the ridge to Little Colder Crag & on to Haycock. Then across to Scoat Fell & descended down off there on to Steeple & carried on along Long Crag & eventually back to the bottom of Ennerdale & followed the Forest track back to my car. [with] On my Own [weather] Clear Sunny day with little or no breeze.

Kevin Foster scaled Haycock on June 15th, 2022 [from/via/route] Seatallan [with] By myself. [weather] Dry & sunny - Considerable height loss & gain to reach the next top on my walk Haycock. After a very steep drop on grass off the northern edge of Seatallan to the col, I aimed to the left of prominent Gowder Crag to ascend to the col between Scoat Fell & Haycock. Then turned left up the clear rocky path to the summit. There are two piles of stones either side of the wall but the southern side is considered slightly higher. A few metres south on a rocky promontory is a small cairn which gives the best views.

Paul Macey walked up Haycock on August 19th, 2021 [from/via/route] C130 in reverse [weather] High cloud to start kow about 400 cloud base at end

Michael Austin climbed Haycock on June 18th, 2021 [from/via/route] C130

Christina Lander bagged Haycock on April 22nd, 2021 [from/via/route] Bowness Knott, Ennerdale - Lingmell - Steeple - Scoat Fell - Haycock - Caw Fell - Bowness Knott [with] Dick [weather] A beautiful sunny day - During our holiday staying in Embleton
