GPS Waypoints - Wainwright
Q. Hi I would be interested in purchasing the GPS Waypoints for [Wainwright's] Coast to Coast, but there only seems to be 192 GPS Waypoints. This seems a small number for the amount of miles. Is there a more in-depth GPS Waypoint guide for the walk?
Kind Regards

A. It is one of the major GPS Myths that you need a GPS Waypoint every few metres. You do not. You only need a GPS Waypoint at each significant point on a walk - like a change of direction, mountain top or to locate a stile or gate on an otherwise barren moor.
In between you just need to to follow the path. See How far apart should my GPS Waypoints be? for more information.
Hope this helps
