Richard Fulcher walked up Ullscarf on June 24th, 2024 [from/via/route] Parked next to the red telephone box in Stonethwaite (7:50am). Crossed the bridge & turned right following Stonethwaite Beck. Crossed river at Smithmire Island & followed the path on the other side of Greenup Gill to second pasture, turning right to follow the wall steeply up to Bleak How following Wainwright's route 'A'. Some climbing / scrambling required but nothing out of the ordinary for a 66 year old! After Eagle Crag I followed vague paths over the boggy terrain to Sergeant's Crag & then headed for Long Crag, finding a small path that traces the top of this crag & then crosses the bridleway that joins up with Grasmere? Followed an intermittent path up to Ullscarf that follows an old fence line ( only the iron posts remain). After Ullscarf I retraced my steps back to the bridleway turning right to follow this path down the valley & back to Stonethwaite. [weather] Started warm & cloudy but as the day wore on the clouds disappeared & the sun was fierce! - Great views of many Lakeland mountain ranges from Ullscarf. The heat made the descent very taxing. The route down is rocky with many opportunities to break your ankle.

Tim Winn climbed Ullscarf on March 24th, 2024 [with] Barry, Roger, Andy and Paul [weather] Sunny & clear.

Christine Shepherd bagged Ullscarf on May 25th, 2008 [from/via/route] I walked from Borrowdale using walk c243. Climbed again adding Ullscarf to walk c189; there & back from High Raise on 14.10.21 on a stunning Autumn day Climbed for a third time from Dob Gill Car Park on 8.1.24 using the start of walk c218 as a there & back. [with] On my own [weather] Warm but overcast

Pete George hiked Ullscarf on May 20th, 2023 [from/via/route] Rosthwaite [with] Roco & Pete [weather] Warm & sunny

Geoff Hand summited Ullscarf on March 7th, 2023 [from/via/route] From Rosthwaite, followed StonethwaiteBeck down the valley. Crossed the beck at Galleny force to climb Eagle crag. From Eagle crag proceeded up Sargeant's Crag. From here we went to Long Crag then cut across to High Raise where we stopped for lunch. From here heading North East we passed Low White Stones & onto Ullscarf. [with] Tess [weather] Lovely cold clear day.

John Tippins conquered Ullscarf on June 16th, 2022 [from/via/route] From Rosthwaite, c243 go4awalk [with] Alone [weather] Dry, sunny, warm & humid.

Richard Marchant scaled Ullscarf on May 18th, 2022 [from/via/route] Parking the car in Stonethwaite I followed the Cumbria Way up the valley to Smithymire Island where I then headed South up the steep slope to Eagle Crag Summit. From here I carried on to Sergeant's Crag & then up to Low White Stones before turning & heading Northeast ridging around to Ullscarf then along to Coldbarrow Fell & Northwest to Dock Tarn. From here I quickly went up on to Great Crag then back track to the Tarn & descended down Tingy End back to Stonethwaite. [with] On my Own [weather] Dry Day & a bit overcast in the morning although it did become sunny & clear in the afternoon.

Neil Heywood walked up Ullscarf on July 30th, 2021 [from/via/route] Thrilmere [with] logan Heywood [weather] Mixed
