Caroline Winter climbed High Seat (Mallerstang) on August 7th, 2020 [from/via/route] B6270 by Pennine Way sign, High Pike, High Seat [with] Becky [weather] Warm with light Easterly wind - After walking Nine Standards Rigg, bagged High Seat. Trodden down grass trail from road. Seemed long walk from High Pike. Ram guarding cairn stone, so took photo & made a quick descent to make it to Tan Hill Inn, just in time for booked meal.
Andy Jakob bagged High Seat (Mallerstang) on April 21st, 2018 [from/via/route] Pennine Way north to south from Kirby stephen to hawes [with] Afwc...colin, roger and myself [weather] sunny warm clear skies - after an extended winter of snow & recent heavy rain. Amazing day with AFWC
David Congreave hiked High Seat (Mallerstang) on January 6th, 2018 [from/via/route] Outhgill [with] Andy W [weather] Snow & wind but not too cold. - Route back down Mallerstang very tricky in the snow. Couldn't find the miner's track & ended up shuffling down some very steep sections. Not ideal. The map might need looking at.
Kevin Foster summited High Seat (Mallerstang) on August 23rd, 2017 [from/via/route] Outhgill [with] By myself [weather] Sunny - Another 'route one' ascent from Outhgill followed the old miner's track up the fell side which was surprisingly still clear to follow on the ground. After crossing a gill & following this up, the way ahead was very clear aiming for the prominent shepherd's cairn on the ridge above. There was no easy way up the next section but a final scramble up some rocks added to the interest. I got a bit of a shock to hear a voice shouting near the top of the climb but it turned out to be only a shepherd shouting at his dog who was rounding up sheep. The view from the shepherd's cairn was amazing. It was then only a short walk at a much easier gradient to the three cairned summit of High Seat beyond. The middle cairn is the highest but I visited all three just to make sure.
Mark Davidson conquered High Seat (Mallerstang) on August 14th, 2008 [with] Mike [weather] Bit grey, dull & misty

Darren Mortimer walked up High Seat (Mallerstang) on December 6th, 2014 [from/via/route] Outhgill using walk c388 [with] Dermot Palmer [weather] Cold & windy with a blanket of mist. - This is a great walk (c388) but not much fun in the mist. Navigational skills & a good sat nav are essential when the weather is bad as it was for me. Also very tricky leaving High Seat & traveling over Mallerstang Crags when the ground is wet.
Christine Shepherd climbed High Seat (Mallerstang) on June 16th, 2014 [from/via/route] Walked from Outhgill using walk c388 [with] On my own [weather] Sun breaking through after a day which had been pleasant with white cloud & a light breeze.
