Iturned up from the Widdale-Dent bridleway for the climb to the summit trig point just before Cross Gates after encountering a group of Duke of Edinburgh awardees. I then had the rest of the walk to myself. Best bit was the magnificent views down Dentdale on the descent off the fell & picking up the wonderful green lane back to Widdale.
