The Tinto & Culter Hills area of Scottish Region 27: The Scottish Borders region is the area enclosed by an imaginary line connecting:
- Larkhall to Blyth Bridge via Carluke, the A721, Carnwarth, Newbigging and Elsrickle to the North;
- Blyth Bridge to Moffat via Broughton, the River Tweed, Stanhope, Hearthstane, Tweedsmuir and Glenbreck to the South East;
- Moffat to Larkhall via the A74(M), Elvanfoot, Abingden Happendon and Kirkmuihill to the South West;
If you include all the Munros, the Corbetts, the Grahams, the Donalds, the Murdos, the Marilyns, the Bridgets (Hills) and all the Mountains, Tops, Peaks and Hills with a Trig Point on them there are 15 tops to climb, bag & conquer and the highest point is Culter Fell at 748m (2,455ft).
