The Nairn & Elgin Hills area of Scottish Region 9: The Glen Roy & Monadhliath Mountains region is the area enclosed by an imaginary line connecting:
- Inverness to Spey Bay via the Moray Firth & Lossiemouth to the North
- Spey Bay to Boat of Garten via the River Spey, Fochabers, Aberlour and Grantown-on-Spey to the South East
- Boat of Garten to Inverness via the A9 through Tomatin to the South West
If you include all the Munros, the Corbetts, the Grahams, the Donalds, the Murdos, the Marilyns, the Bridgets (Hills), and all the Mountains, Tops, Peaks and Hills with a Trig Point on them there are 14 tops to climb, bag & conquer and the highest point is Carn Glas-choire at 659m (2,162ft).
