The Sidlaw Hills area of Scottish Region 25: Central Scotland region is the area enclosed by an imaginary line connecting:
- Dunkeld to Stonehaven via the River Tay to Kinclaven, the A93 to through Blairgowrie and Rattray and then the A926 via Alyth, Kirriemuir, Brechin & Laurencekirk to the North
- Stonehaven to Carnoustie via the North Sea, Inverbervie, Montrose & Arbroath to the South East
- Carnoustie to Perth via the Firth of Tay past Dundee to the South East
- Perth to Dunkeld via the A9 to the West
If you include all the Munros, the Corbetts, the Grahams, the Donalds, the Murdos, the Marilyns, the Bridgets (Hills) and all the Mountains, Tops, Peaks and Hills with a Trig Point on them there are 3 tops to climb, bag & conquer and the highest point is Craigowl Hill at 455m (1,493ft).
