The Peak District Marathon Walk
Q. Hi!
I'm due to do the Peak Park marathon walk in May, ie across the Peak District National Park from North to South via Marsden, Laddow, Bleaklow, Kinder, Millers Dale, Dovedale Castle etc.
Is there a combined route on the site for this, or if not can you advise please?
Thanks
David Henry
A. I've not heard of this one before - if someone can send us the route we will see what we can do

A. Basically, it is a traverse of the Peak Park from North to South over two days.
Start at Marsden on the northern edge, then follow the Pennine Way south to Edale.
Then via Limestone Way to pick up the Midshires Way at Town Head /A 515.
The route then follows the National Cycle Network for a while south to Milldale before entering Dove Dale, ending at Thorpe on the southern edge of the Park.
Thanks for a great web site by the way!
