Walks in the Cambrian Mountains
Q. I can't find any walks in the Cambrian Mountains on go4awalk.com.
Are you planning to put any on the website in this area?
Many thanks
Neal Bradshaw, York
A. We have now added three peak bagging maps for the Cambrian Mountains:
- The Central Cambrian Mountains, Wales
- The South West Cambrian Mountains, Wales
- The South Eastern Cambrian Mountains, Wales
There are lists and maps showing the location of all the mountains, peaks, hills and tops in the area.
Hope this helps

A. The Cambrian Mountains (as opposed to the Cumbrian Mountains in the Lake District) is a wild and lonely area rising to between 450m (1500ft) and 610m (2000ft) and lying between the Snowdonia and Brecon Beacons National Parks in Wales.
The A44 crosses the region from Plynlimon (the highest point) in the north to Elenydd in the south. The most well known feature is the probably the Elan Valley, whose reservoirs supply Birmingham.
