Walks in the Cambrian Mountains
Q. I can't find any walks in the Cambrian Mountains on go4awalk.com.
Are you planning to put any on the website in this area?
Many thanks

A. We have now added five peak bagging maps for the Mynyddoedd Cambria (The Cambrian Mountains), Wales which list and map the location of all the mountains, peaks, hills and tops in the area. The first covers the whole area:
This area can be further subsdevided into four smaller areas to make peak bagging a bit more manageable. These are:
- The Central Area of Mynyddoedd Cambria (The Cambrian Mountains), Wales
- The Northern Area of Mynyddoedd Cambria (The Cambrian Mountains), Wales
- The South Western Area of Mynyddoedd Cambria (The Cambrian Mountains), Wales
- The South Eastern Area of Mynyddoedd Cambria (The Cambrian Mountains), Wales
Hope this helps

A. The Cambrian Mountains (as opposed to the Cumbrian Mountains in the Lake District) is a wild and lonely area rising to between 450m (1500ft) and 610m (2000ft) and lying between the Snowdonia and Brecon Beacons National Parks in Wales.
The A44 crosses the region from Plynlimon (the highest point) in the north to Elenydd in the south. The most well known feature is the probably the Elan Valley, whose reservoirs supply Birmingham.
