Calf Top is also known as an English Nuttall (253rd highest in England, 441st highest in England & Wales) and an English Marilyn (51st highest in England, 752nd highest in the UK).
The summit of Calf Top is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.
Completing this walk will also take you to the top of Castle Knott at 536m (1759ft). Castle Knott is also known as an English Dewey (102nd highest in England, 237th in England & Wales)
