I am a Male Walker, in my mid 50s, based near York

My Message: Hello, I'm on the lookout for new walking companions that share my passion for walking in the hills. I try to get out into the North York Moors or Dales as frequently as possible. Weekends in Snowdonia and Cumbria are always treasured. I'm trying to expand my general wildlife knowledge and have also started dabbling in some basic foraging. I usually manage to walk abroad once a year (the Julian Alps in Slovenia are my absolute favourite). Would love to hook up with like minded folk to share a walk or two so please get in touch. A bit more about me:

I quite enjoy Scrambling & Edges but don't like too much exposure. With regard to the weather, this is the UK so it's going to rain sooner or later isn't it? Fine with me, I've got waterproofs. I like walking with dogs but do not have one of my own. I'd say my map reading & navigation skills are pretty good. I can drive and have a car.
