Dan Milman walked up Rough Crag (Birker Fell) on August 29th, 2022 [with] Milly & Jonah [weather] Warm & clear - Started near Eskdale, took a path up behind some cottages. Had to cross elements of the moor with no formal footpaths. Probably very boggy in winter & a lot more difficult. Came across on the main path from Water Crag, then cross country back to the original path near Eskdale.

Colin Egan climbed it on May 10th, 2019 [from/via/route] Start from the fell road between Ulpha & Eskdale & take the bridleway towards Devoke Water turning off to ascend Rough Crag [with] My wife Faith [weather] Fine but cool on top - The start of the circuit of Devoke Water, walk No. 33 in Wainwrights Outlying fells.

Rob Meadows bagged it on January 1st, 2019 [from/via/route] Path leading from road to Devoke Water [with] Diane and Lola [weather] Cold & very windy
