Christine Shepherd climbed Pikes (Caw) on August 26th, 2015 [from/via/route] Walked from Seathwaite using Wainwright's Outlying Fells [with] On my own [weather] Bright spells of sunshine but a cold blustery wind on the summits. - I took my older copy of Wainwright on this walk which says that there is a cairn on Pikes. There isn't one! I climbed it twice as I was convinced I must have climbed the wrong set of 'Handsome looking crags' that Wainwright alludes too. The later edition doesn't mention a cairn.
