Didn't actually bag Whinlatter itself on this occasion due to the rain. Climbed again on 21.6.19 while bagging Ullister Hill & again on 12.6.21 Climbed for a fourth time on 24.07.23.

Set out from Whinlatter Forest Park via Combe Beck & Beckstone Plantation & then popped out onto the hill & upto Barf. From here we followed the ridge onto Lord's seat. [weather] Horizontal freezing rain driven by gale force winds. - The weather was impossible, we walked doubled up to Lords Seat to keep the freezing rain off our faces, nearly blown off my feet on the top, water proof covers on the ruck sacks ripped off by the wind. Enough was enough, turned back at this point.
