From here just walked up to Lonscale Fell then straight South to join the Cumbria Way & back to the car. [with] On my Own [weather] Dry Day with Hazy views early doors but did become sunny & clear in the afternoon

[with] Margaret & Ralph [weather] Dry & breezy with sunny spells. - Margaret had missed out 6 years ago when Ralph & I first did Little Man. Now the 3 of us have just 29 to go including Knott, the only one left to do in the Northern Fells. We had lunch on the Eastern Ridge & returned down the grass path ad round to the car park.

Tony Halliday summited Lonscale Fell on November 22nd, 2021 [from/via/route] Circular walk starting at under skiddaw car park steep start climbed little man then skiddaw Cut across to sale how to join up to Cumbrian way headed back to car park then saw Lonsdale fell to my left had Time daylight hours & great weather so climbed long scale fell to grab some more views very steep climb nearly turned round but eventually made the top great views would recommend cutting across from little man s as nd descending this way [with] My boarder terrier jimmy [weather] The weather was perfect clear & sunny & fresh & dry - Threw this in on the way back to car wish I hadn't half way up but views made it worthwhile

Richard Fulcher scaled Lonscale Fell on July 31st, 2021 [from/via/route] Jen dropped me at the Gale Road car park & I started off along the Cumbria Way around Lonscale Fell. I ascended up on the edge of Lonscale Crags to Lonscale Fell & then walked over Jenkin Hill to Little Man. From there I joined the main route up to Skiddaw & over the other side to Bakestall. I descended via Birkett Edge & then followed the Cumbria Way route down to Peter House Farm. I walked down the road to Walk Mill Bridge where Jen picked me up. [weather] Low cloud but otherwise reasonable weather. - The initial climb up Lonscale was tough (unfit!) but the other climbs were separated by easier sections.

Kevin Foster bagged Lonscale Fell on March 30th, 2021 [from/via/route] Latrigg car park. [with] By myself. [weather] Sunny to start then ascending into cloud. Cloud inversion on the top of Skiddaw which was cloud free. - The path I took from Latrigg car park heading towards Blencathra before turning the corner for Skiddaw House was fairly level & very pleasant until the corner was reached. However the next section following the fence line on the left & Lonscale crags on the right was no nonsense straight up. Very direct & very steep. The cloud base was entered about half way up & remained until the summit ridge of Skiddaw was reached. Unfortunately the views from the top of Lonscale Crag & the summit of Lonscale Fell itself were non existent so there didn't seem much point in hanging about.
