Dan Collins climbed High Tove on July 30th, 2023 [from/via/route] As part of c318 walk [with] Family (just the lads) [weather] Overcast & rainy - Very boggy & marshy on the top ridge. My right leg vanished into a bog at one point, much to the amusement of the kids. Descent from Raven crag is steep, & generally the main part of the walk was hard to navigate with limited pathways (I assume partly based on the extent of rain recently)
Geoff Hand bagged High Tove on July 7th, 2023 [from/via/route] Nipped out to Watendlath on Friday afternoon & climbed up to High Tove, Armboth fell & back down to the farm very nice. Climbed again on 23.9.19 & 25.9.19 while bagging Bell Crags. Repeated walk c318 21-04-2021. Climbed again on 03.12.2022. Fantastic views all day.

Last one for the day so it was back down the path to the road on the West side of Thirlmere & that was followed back to the car park. Some gaps in the cloud. - No 65- 69 Wainwrights & will log all together. As the weather had remained warm there was no issue with bog! Just soft walking. A new path of huge stone blocks solved the issue around High Seat where the bog had obviously been boggiest. A good walk & five Wainwrights bagged.

Richard Beardsley walked up High Tove on July 1st, 2021 [from/via/route] Dropped off & started route at 0800 hrs from Ashness Bridge [with] Myself. [weather] Slightly overcast but sun broke through eventually. Warm pleasant day. - Route from Ashness Bridge was straight forward. Started from the right side of the Bark House mountain hut, (public footpath signpost just visible). Followed the path quite easily & where it meets the gill turned right onto an old but well made stone pitched path that climbs steeply up the fellside to the Dodd. The summit trig point of High Seat eventually comes into view. Having summited High Seat the recently made stone path to High Tove is easily located & leads directly to its top. Armboth Fell was next & again that was easily sighted from High Tove. A direct route was taken over comfortable ground which could be quite boggy in wet weather. After Armboth I returned to High Tove passed through the gate & descended along the track to Watendlath. It was then a 5 mile walk along the road to Keswick & catch the bus to Carlisle. I arrived home at 1500hrs. A thoroughly enjoyable day.
Nick Dobson climbed High Tove on May 31st, 2021 [from/via/route] National trust car park in Watendlath [with] Margaret & Ralph [weather] Very hot day today so with Ralph 11 years now the plan was to do a quick up to High Tove summit & back to Watendlath Tarn - Our third Wainwright walk this year completing number 175 & 176 of the 214, by continuing onto Armboth Fell taking advantage of the last few days of excellent weather to reduce slightly the swampiness of the route (38 more to go) Coffee & cake at the N T cafe then round to the Tarn briefly before Ralph got impatient of the peace & tranquility.
Richard Fulcher bagged High Tove on April 19th, 2021 [from/via/route] Circular walk from car parked on A591. Armboth up to High Tove (I walked across to Armboth Fell & back to High Tove), over the boggy terrain to High Seat. Complicated & difficult walk across woods & up to Raven Crag via a huge ravine, a high ladder stile & along a track. Back down to Thirlmere & back to the car.
