Fellow go4awalkers who have already walked, climbed, summited & bagged Cross Fell
Tia Cain has walked up Cross Fell [from/via/route] A random pull in near the bottom! [with] Stewart and the dog [weather] Perfectly clear & dry - Climbed down the water - terrible idea that turned out to be a very pretty adventure although not advisable as some sections were not easy to navigate
Caroline Winter climbed it on August 25th, 2021 [from/via/route] Town End Farm Knock, Knock Fell, Great Dun Fell, Little Dun Fell, PW [with] Becky [weather] Very Warm day & humid - Feeling the strain of the walk, due to hot & humid weather. Didn't fancy back tracking up & over again, even though a good tarmac road from Great Dun Fell, so took the longer PW route down. Missed the Rainbeck turn, so road walked the rest. A very long, late & tiring walk back to car, dog tried to bite our ankles & inquisitive calves trying to 'rush' us at Millburn Grange, but restaurant at Appleby held our table, & the great food made up for it.
Angela Moroney bagged it on August 6th, 2020 [from/via/route] milburn [with] SOLO
Mark Davidson hiked Cross Fell on February 14th, 2007 [with] MK and his mate who did all the Charity Walks (incl Land's End to John O'Groats) [weather] Clear & Sunny with a touch of snow on the tops - lovely
Margaret Richards summited on September 6th, 2010 [from/via/route] pennine way; Garrigill to Little Dun Fell [with] Don - Windy
