Other walkers who hiked, climbed, bagged and summited Armboth Fell Fellow go4awalkers who have already walked, climbed, summited & bagged Armboth Fell

Mr M A Blanchard walked up Armboth Fell on October 4th, 2024 [from/via/route] > [with] Ted, Florence, Millie and Woodie [weather] Dry cool

Sarah Wild climbed Armboth Fell on October 3rd, 2023 [from/via/route] Thirlmere road [with] Barney [weather] Sun & cloud - 4 today

Kevin Whelan bagged Armboth Fell on August 21st, 2023 [from/via/route] Used c318 from Armboth Car Park. Due to the partial closure around Thirlmere it took 3 attempts to find a road to get us there. Couldn't find the route through Fishercrag plantation so took the route to Watenladh next to it. Once past the treeline we cut across to Armboth Fell. [with] Charlie [weather] Showery & overcast - Very boggy as warned. The lack of clear paths was to become a theme of the day. By the time we had got to High Seat it turned truly biblical & after failing to locate Bleaberry Fell we beat a retreat to Thirlmere.

Dan Collins hiked Armboth Fell on July 30th, 2023 [from/via/route] As part of c318 walk [with] Family (just the lads) [weather] Overcast & rainy - Very boggy & marshy on the top ridge. My right leg vanished into a bog at one point, much to the amusement of the kids. Descent from Raven crag is steep, & generally the main part of the walk was hard to navigate with limited pathways (I assume partly based on the extent of rain recently)

Geoff Hand summited Armboth Fell on July 7th, 2023 [from/via/route] Nipped out to Watendlath on Friday afternoon & climbed up to High Tove, Armboth fell & back down to the farm very nice. Exciting drive to Watendlath. Must be one of the most remote NT spots around. Good to pick thse up after missing them earlier in the year. [weather] Warm muggy day.

Steve Lucas conquered Armboth Fell on October 18th, 2020 [with] On my own

Charlotte Hewson scaled Armboth Fell on June 3rd, 2023 [from/via/route] The base of raven cragg, Thirlmere, along the lake [with] Rosie [weather] Sunny! - Quick paddle in Thirlmere after

Christine Shepherd walked up Armboth Fell on October 4th, 2009 [from/via/route] Walked from Armboth using walk c318 [with] On my own [weather] Cloudy but good views - Very wet underfoot but a great walk. Climbed again on 23.9.19 & while trying to bag Bell Crags which I succeeded in doing two days later. Climbed again 21-04-21 on an eventful day which ended with a broken arm. Climbed again on 03.12.2022 I was delighted to take a direct route to this fell from the Armboth Carpark without getting my feet wet!

Ian Ashton climbed Armboth Fell on August 27th, 2022 [with] Jph [weather] Sunny

Tony Halliday bagged Armboth Fell on March 26th, 2022 [from/via/route] Circular walk starting at castlerig farm camp site where we stayed did this wainwright as part of a 13 mile loop starting with Wella crag to bleaberry fell high seat high tove armbroth fell & raven crag [with] My boarder terrier jimmy boo and George also my wife sal [weather] The weather was warm dry sunny & clear 17 degrees - Nice circular roughly 13 miles great views over Keswick & surrounding fells ended with raven crag tough steep climb from thirlmere but great t views
