Moel Famau is the highest point in the county of Flintshire.
Moel Famau means 'Mother Hill' in Welsh and is pronounced 'moil va-my'.
The summit of Moel Famau is marked by an Ordnance Survey Trig Point.
The Tower on top of Moel Famau was built to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of George III. It was wrecked by a storm in 1862
