In-use Test:

The Radiant top is a relaxed fit, long-sleeved top with a generous hood. The fabric has a slight stretch and feels very soft to the touch. The fit is pretty true-to-size plus the overall length is good. The relaxed style means that it can be easily worn over a base layer - or even a base layer plus second mid-layer - so lots of flexibility in how it's used. The good length sleeves finish in a snug-fitting cuff with thumb-loops. There are no pockets aside from a small security pocket in the left side seam. The overall finish is of a high standard throughout .

I've been wearing it as a mid-layer with a Paramo base layer and Bergans of Norway jacket in late Autumn/early Winter when temperatures have been a reasonably mild 9-10 deg C and at times rather cooler at 4-5 deg C. For low level walking, I've been comfortable at the higher temperature but felt the need for an additional layer at the cooler one. I also found that I definitely needed something else around my neck as the - otherwise attractive - open style of the hood does allow the wind to whistle around!

Light enough to have in a daypack for when an extra layer is needed during cooler conditions, I've also appreciated the understated style of the Radiant around town when needing some extra warmth.

Buying Advice:

Rohan's Radiant hooded top is a stylish, quality option as a midlayer for milder conditions - or in combination with another layer in colder weather. Also good looking enough for more general leisure wear.
