Walks in Kerry, Ireland
Q. Hi,
Hi there – I'm really pleased with the site – it's clear, useful, practical and well written. I have used your route cards for the Coast to Coast, the 3 Peaks, a lot of the Lake District walks, and some of the ones in the Yorkshire Dales.
I just wondered – I'm going on honeymoon to Kerry in Ireland – do you know any good walks around there?
Thanks and Kind regards
James Ryding, St Albans
A. Here are 2 suggestions Carrantuohill (1039m) is near Killarney and is Ireland's highest mountain and Brandon Mountain (952m) is Ireland's second highest which is near Dingle Town. I did both in July. Brandon is near the coast and has fantastic views over the Dingle Peninsular.
