Storing my kit for the Cape Wrath Trail?
Q. I am spending the month of May rambling in Western Scotland after flying in from New Hampshire in the States. I walked the West Highland Way a few years ago with backpack and over the past ten years spent several holidays day hillwalking while based in Kinlochleven and Onich. This time I plan on walking the Cape Wrath Path, and the Highland Drove Path. On my other holidays in Scotland I did not backpack (other than WHW) so I had a hotel that I used as a base to leave my extra belongings. This time however I plan on tenting, B&Bs, and the occasional Hostel. I am puzzled about where I can safely leave my excess kit during my walk. It consists of one medium sized duffle. Does anyone have suggestions? As an aside, I am very knowledgeable about the 2175 mile long Appalachian Trail which just happens to run past my house. I would be glad to answer any questions about the AT.

A. The Cape Wrath Trail is a 330km (205 miles) linear footpath connecting Cape Wrath, Highland, Scotland with Banavie (Fort William) in Highland, Scotland.
It is is considered to be one of the most challenging long distance walks in the UK.
Hope this helps
