Is the West Highland Way well way-marked?
Q. Hi,I was wondering whether the WHW is well route-marked. I love walking but get extremely frustrated when the way is not clear and I waste loads of time trying to work out if I'm going the right way!! Thanks.

A. Hi Heather, The WHW is very well route-marked and a map is really not necessary. However, I do recommend getting the Trailblazer Guide for the route as it is packed full of useful information.

A. Isn't that what a map and compass is for? Seriously, if you need to rely on marker posts to walk the WHW then I'd question whether the route is right for you.
