Q. Can you recommend the best place in the Lakes for a couple of ancient walkers. We are both 82years of age. Diana

A. Hi Diana. Some years ago I visited Grizedale Forest near Satterthwaite (not far from Coniston). If you like woodland walks this would be a great place. Nothing too steep or arduous and if you stay on the forest tracks its good underfoot. Used to be a great visitor centre there too with café and parking facilities. Well worth checking out. Jez
