Walks to Tissington Village from Ashbourne
Q. Hi, I'm booked into a B&B in Ashbourne during the Tissington Well Dressings festival; I wondered if there are any simple walks to take to get from Ashbourne which will take in Tissington Village please? As I've never walked the Peaks before. Kind regards

A. Tissington is about 7km (4.5 miles) from Ashbourne via The Tissington Trail - a former railway line. Walk d131 The Tissington Trail and Thorpe from Ashbourne and Walk d140 The Tissington Trail and Dove Dale from Ashbourne both cover ths start of the route.
