Walking from High Wycombe to Whitney past Oxford
Q. Is it possible to walk (or run in my case) from High Wycombe to Oxford and then on to Whitney? I've had a look and the A40 seems to have a path up to a point then it runs out. There is also the Oxfordshire Way to consider if possible.
Barney Whitfield, High Wycombe
A. I don't know much about walking along the A40 - can't say I have ever done that.
The Oxfordshire Way is a 104km (65 miles) linear footpath connecting Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire, England with Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, England. It is waymarked by the letters OW.
For some circular walks that include the The Oxfordshire Way see Walks, Routes and Maps on The Oxfordshire Way
