Recommendation for walks in the Brecon Beacons
Q. Hello, I'm visiting Wales this week and would love to do a walk in the Brecon Beacons area. I've been researching good routes online, but the results are a bit overwhelming and hard to sift through! I would love to get a recommendation from someone familiar with the area on:
1. A walk that includes some historic sites, especially bronze-age, iron-age, or Neolithic ruins.
2. A length of perhaps 5-7 miles (day hike).
3. Possible to get to without a car, and not terribly difficult to find or follow.
Many thanks for your help! Jen
