Wheelchair Walks
Q. Hi, I am writing on behalf of my daughter. Her husband has had MS for 25 years and has coped with it admirably, but over the last few months he has really struggled with it, to the extent that he has to use a wheelchair if he has to go any distance. He likes to get out, but is now getting really frustrated as his condition is keeping him confined to within the 4 walls at work and at home. My wife and I do some walking and have taken him for walks round Yeadon Tarn & The Heronry at Walton Lakes, Wakefield. So after my brief intro to the situation could you or your readers come up with any other ideas with similar walks i.e. with tarmaced or firm surfaces?

A. There a few ideas in Walks with Wheelchair Access so take a look there or use the our Search Facility to look for Wheelchair Walks
Hope this helps . . .
